Sacred Steel Guitar Robert Randolph was the first “A” list musician to be interested in the Harmos Lap Steel sound. We connected with Robert at the Sacred Steel Convention in 2001. Robert has owned a Harmos lap steel guitar since 2002 and currently owns the only Harmos Pedal Steel guitar made. We continue to talk with Robert about guitar improvements and designs. | Jerry Douglas Americana Guitar Jerry Douglas has played Harmos lap steel since 2003. We met Jerry when came through Minnesota on an AKUS tour in 2003. He continues to use his Harmos lap steel in recordings - most recently on his latest CD “The Best Kept Secret”.
